Magnolia Station is the only historic loft community of its kind in Dallas, tucked away at the edge of downtown with an impressive skyline view.  Magnolia is a true loft development with open space apartments, taller ceilings, natural light and smooth concrete floors.  The seven historic solid red brick buildings (see history) have the texture of by-gone years not far the contemporary Uptown District of Dallas.  It is located across the street from the American Airlines Center (home of the Dallas Mavericks and Stars) on a site developed for the Magnolia Petroleum Company between 1911 and 1918.  It is close to each of Dallas’ four major freeways, just minutes from the center of downtown, with its new Arts District, and Dallas Rapid Transit Authority’s new Victory light and commuter rail station.

The century old industrial setting on a rambling site with many old trees has a swimming pool in a picturesque copse of foliage and Stonehenge-like empty tank cradles of aged concrete.   Also there is a twenty four hour fitness room, and several outdoor patios, one bordered by a gurgling mill run.  The free fresh-brewed coffee bar is open at all hours.  Within municipal regulations Magnolia is a pet-friendly community for all breeds and sizes (no breed restrictions).
